Anshal Purohit began her professional career in the pharmaceutical industry as a territory business manager at Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS), where she sold to internists, endocrinologists, cardiologists, and neurologists, and was consistently ranked among the top 10% of sales representatives nationwide.

Next, she joined Pfizer, where she worked in customer marketing and focused on partnering with brand teams to develop strategic initiatives to target local health plans.

In 2003, Anshal joined Polaris Management Partners, a startup healthcare consulting firm, where she conducted strategic consulting and business development. Her work there was key in securing several large pharmaceutical companies as clients, and was also instrumental in shifting the business's focus from financial analysis to compliance risk analysis and mitigation.

Anshal holds an MBA with honors from the Columbia University Graduate School
of Business.
